Sex Positive If there is anything that I hate more in life it is trend following. Maybe my dislike for such attitudes comes from the rebellious days of my youth or maybe it rooted in my firm belief that trends are quite frankly stupid and sometimes can have harmful effects on some people.

Safe Sex It always amazes me when I hear people talking about how they are in a non monogamous relationship and practicing safe sex. The reason that it amazes me so much is because the vast majority of these people claim that birth control such as the Pill, IUD's and the shot constitute engaging in safe sex practices. When asked about condoms the common answer that I hear is, “I'm on (insert any other form of BC here) so I don't have to worry.

Oh The Shame! There are few things that annoy more than reading either a sex toy review or adult themed blog and encountering certain words. While I understand the writers desire to not alienate readers at the very least they could stick to proper terms for anatomy then. For me it comes across as highly immature when reading a review of a vibrator or cock ring. Hell I have even encountered a few writers who employ the use of cutesie terms and/or euphemisms for sex acts. If as a sex writer/sex toy reviewer you find yourself shying away from using even proper words such as vagina, penis, testicles, clitoris and nipples then you should really take a step back and rethink the whole writing thing.
