This pretty common sense but you would not believe the amount of people I have encountered that were in disbelief that sex toys needed to be cleaned. These are the same people that would buy a toy and use it right out of the packaging.

Sex Positive If there is anything that I hate more in life it is trend following. Maybe my dislike for such attitudes comes from the rebellious days of my youth or maybe it rooted in my firm belief that trends are quite frankly stupid and sometimes can have harmful effects on some people.

Safe Sex It always amazes me when I hear people talking about how they are in a non monogamous relationship and practicing safe sex. The reason that it amazes me so much is because the vast majority of these people claim that birth control such as the Pill, IUD's and the shot constitute engaging in safe sex practices. When asked about condoms the common answer that I hear is, “I'm on (insert any other form of BC here) so I don't have to worry.

Sexual Ignorance

I am a very open person and quite often have found myself having conversations with others that have related to sex and masturbation. One thing that I have always been amused with were peoples reactions and ignorant and sometimes mind blowing comments concerning masturbation. One would think that in this day and age something as simple as the topic or act itself of self pleasure would not be so taboo. From the general "Oh that is just gross, I would never touch myself." to the more extreme "That is considered cheating so I could never do that." I have heard it all. The common thread here is that the women I have heard say these comments have also stated that they are unsatisfied with their sex lives. To them sex is a chore, something done to keep a relationship going, or even to get one started.  Their view on masturbation is tainted by social and religious biases in regards to human pleasure.  They see the simple act of self pleasure as dirty and unnatural...
